Ms. Clayvonne Susette Webb daughter of Sheila Diane Webb and the late Lemar Earl Kearney, was born in Wilson, North Carolina on July 2, 1971. She departed this earthly life to gain rest on Friday, November 22, 2024 at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson NC.
Clayvonne affectionately known as Clay was reared in Wilson, NC and gained her formal education in the Wilson County Public School System and Edgecombe County. Following the completion of her educational endeavors, she gained employment as a hotel manager with Marriot hotels. Clayvonne lived most of her life in Wilson NC and Nash County NC. Clayvonne was a member of Contending for the faith Ministries under Pastor Dr Damien Royal leadership. She loved to cook, entertain and spend quality time with her family and friends. She loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. Clay had a very big heart and would give to anyone in need and took great pride in caring for those around her. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, mema, cousin and friend. Clay loving heart of gold and compassionate demeanor will be missed by all who loved her and also by all who was loved by her.

Surviving and loving memories are cherished by her four children Aikeem Freeman, Quintisha Freeman, Shequilla Freeman and Marquez Freeman. Seven grandchildren Shevonne Freeman, JaVontae Freeman, JaLiyah Freeman, Jakeem Freeman, Carmen Freeman, Sh’Niyah Collins and Brandon Collins Junior. Her mother Sheila Diane Webb. One beloved sister Samantha McClain Knight. One Niece Ilaka McClain. One great niece Baileigh Applewhite, One Nephew Alexander Knight. Two maternal aunts Onieda Webb Jenkins, and Gloria (Archie) Pender, Two maternal Uncles Jimme Webb and Levi Webb. Two paternal aunts Mary Kearney and Patrica Farmer Two paternal uncles John Kearney, James Kearney (Elizabeth. Two Special Friends Beverly Herring and Bobby Batts. Clayvonne will also be missed by a host of cousins, and friends.
