Here lies Clem Dodson, born on May 9, 1969, in Middletown, Ohio. He passed away on October 10, 2024, much to the relief of those who had to endure his endless dad jokes and questionable fashion choices.
Clem was the beloved son of Josh Dodson and Rose Howard. He is survived by his long-suffering spouse, Sharon Dodson, whom he married in the year 15. Together, they had two children, Tera Dodson and Scott Dodson, who will now have to find a new source of embarrassing stories to tell at family gatherings.
Clem attended Middletown High School, where he was voted "Most Likely to Never Leave Middletown." He then went on to work at AK Steel, where he was known for his uncanny ability to disappear just when it was time to do actual work.
Not one to shy away from danger, Clem also served in the Army and was awarded the Purple Heart for bravely stubbing his toe during a training exercise. His fellow soldiers will always remember him for his impeccable talent for finding the nearest shelter at the first sign of danger.
Despite his many flaws, Clem will be remembered fondly by his family and friends, who will miss his unique brand of humor and his steadfast refusal to admit when he was wrong.
May he rest in peace, finally free from the burden of having to come up with puns for every occasion.
