Clifford Franklin Scott passed away on June 3, 2020 after a long battle with cancer at the age of 89.
Scott, as he was lovingly known, is survived by his loving wife, Ella E. Scott; children, Sharon D. Scott, Brenda F. Scott, Eric D. Scott, Allison K. Shields, Kim I. Williams (Wayne), Deborah Y. Hinton, Cedric R. Hinton, and Willander Hinton; grandchildren, Amie D. Holder (Jermaine), Monique P. Scott, Eulise L. Sharpe, Jalyn N. Williams, Josef A. Shields, Joshua D. Williams, and Justin I. Williams; and great-grandchildren, Jeramie D. Scott, Jordan I. Scott, Soloman A. Scott-Williams, Malik Harden, Regan M. Sharpe, Jai Ella R. Holder, Jordyn M. Bush and Marlee Jones; his siblings, Robert Scott, Samuel Scott (Deloris), Deborah A. Gaddis (Ennis), and a host of aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Scott was born on February 11, 1931 in Griffin, GA and moved to Birmingham, AL where he completed his education, went on to serve in the United States Army and retired from Stockham Valves and Fittings in 1993.
Like 'Father Abraham', our beloved Scott, had many sons' and touched lives in more ways that can be put into words. His fun loving, caring, and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all.
He will forever be interred at Zion Memorial Gardens in Birmingham, AL.
