Clifford "Clif" Kent Smith passed away Sunday, October 23, 2016 at the age of 54. Clif is survived by his loving wife, Carla B. Smith and his daughter, Hannah A. Smith, his greatest treasure in life; his parents, Roy and Mavis Smith; his brothers, Graham Smith, and Raymond Smith (Amy); his nephews, Ian Smith (Krysta), Evan Smith (Gracen), Ryan Smith and Logan Smith and his nieces Katherine Smith, Nikole Hosch and Bailey Hosch; and Sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shannen and Carl Hosch. He was the nephew of Norma and John Grant and their son Daen. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Marion Elizabeth and Arthur Ford and Archibald George Smith and Dorothy Eleanor Smith. Clif was born on August 11, 1962 in Bath, England to Roy and Mavis Smith. Later the family moved to Canada, then eventually to Louisiana where he met the love of his life, Carla. Clif met many people through his jobs and made many friends with his quick wit and love of a good joke. Clif loved all things Beatles and Star Wars and shares that love with Hannah. A memorial service is scheduled at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana Thursday, October 27, 2016 with a visitation beginning at 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm with the memorial service at 7:00 pm. Family, friends and employees of AMA Distributors/Lucky Coin Machine Company, Allan Berger & Associates and Franky & Johnny's Restaurant are welcome to attend, share a memory and a laugh to celebrate Clif's life. Anyone who knew Clif knows that he loved the Beatles and one of his favorite quotes was "Life Goes On Within You and Without You".
