Clifford Jacob OrthAugust 27, 1932 – November 16, 2016It is with heavy hearts that we sadly announce the passing of Clifford Orth of Saskatoon, surrounded by his loving family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife Doris; his four children Doug (Cheryl) Orth, Maureen (Lee) Ward, Wendy (Glenn) Johnson, and Richard (Janine) Orth; Doris' children Cindy (Trent) Koehler, Brian (Susan) Smith, and Angela (Tal) Young; his sister Mona (Jerry) Wingert; brother Don Orth; sisters-in-law Carol (Nick) Law and Gail Mackey; the mother of his children Enola Lovell; 18 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother Marie; father Roy; sisters Lorraine and Bernice; and grandson Spencer Smith. Clifford was born on August 27, 1932 in Laird, SK. Cliff was retired from the City Electrical Department after 36 years of dedication. Cliff also was a referee with the WHL for 17 years. The family wishes to thank everyone for the well wishes and phone calls during this difficult time, as well as the nurses, doctors and staff at Royal University Hospital for their kind and caring attention. A Celebration of Cliff's Life will be held at The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 63 (606 Spadina Crescent W, Saskatoon, SK) on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. with lunch to follow. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery following the luncheon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the RCL Branch 63 or a charity of your choice. Arrangements entrusted to Acadia-McKague's Funeral Centre (306.955.1600).
