Clifford Taylor, JrAGE: 68 • Bowie, MDClifford Taylor, Jr., 68, of Bowie, MD, passed away on June 12, 2017. Affectionately known as "Junior" to family and "Cliff" to friends, he was born on August 24, 1948 to Margaret (Berry) and Clifford Taylor, Sr. in Long Branch, NJ.Cliff was the firstborn of seven boys and took his role as eldest very seriously. He married Wanda Evelyn Andrews on January 28, 1968. Three children (Clifford III, Dawn, and Dennis) were born from their union. Cliff was a passionate man with a hearty laugh. He was a giver to the end, often at a great sacrifice to himself.Cliff was a 1966 graduate of Monmouth Regional High School in Tinton Falls, NJ. He attended several trade schools throughout his adult life, where he earned a number of certificates in various areas of electronics and computers. He worked in computer operations and networking for fortune 500 companies during the majority of his career. Cliff was an avid bowler who earned many trophies. Later in life, his greatest pride and joy, outside of his children and grandchildren, became his music collection and corresponding database.Cliff was preceded in death by both parents and 3 brothers - Carl "Sonny", Leslie, and Joseph. He leaves with fondly cherished memories 3 brothers - Gary (Donna), Richard, and Timothy, all of New Jersey; 3 children - Clifford Taylor, III (Kelly) of Newport News, VA, Dawn Weaver (Anthony) of Bowie, MD, and Dennis Taylor; 6 grandchildren - Clifford IV, Emily, Anelle, Ilena, Justin, and Christian; a former wife - Wanda; and a multitude of family and friends.A memorial service will be held in New Jersey on a date to be determined this summer.
