Clifton Williams, of Salemburg, North Carolina, passed away on February 22, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on November 23, 1956, Clifton led a full and vibrant life filled with love, laughter, and plenty of basketball.

Clifton married his high school sweetheart, Alice Williams, and together they raised a beautiful family of three children. David Williams, 44 of Sanford, NC, Marcus Williams 41 of Clinton, NC in Darius Williams 36 of Fayetteville, NC. He was a dedicated employee at Dubose Steel for many years before retiring in 2015 to spend more time with his beloved family.

When he wasn't spending time with his children and grandchildren, Clifton could often be found shooting hoops on the basketball court. He had a true passion for the game and it brought him great joy throughout his life.

Clifton will be remembered for his infectious smile, his kind heart, and his unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
