BRISTOL, Tenn. — Clive Maynard Hall, 81, of Bristol, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Bristol Regional Medical Center. Mr. Hall was born on October 27, 1935, in Carroll County, Virginia, a son of the late Barney V. Hall and Mary Magdeline Worrell Hall. Mr. Hall was a native of Mount Airy, North Carolina, and moved to Bristol in 1960. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. During his time in service he received the following decoration and citation: Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Hall retired from Unisys as an accountant; and was a current employee of Tennessee Floral. He was a member of Anderson Street United Methodist Church where he served as a former member of the administrative board and was part of the Men's Club. Mr. Hall was also a member of the King Masonic Lodge #461, Jericho Shriners, Eastern Star, and Scottish Rite of Freemasonry. He enjoyed golfing, watching TV, especially the Hallmark Christmas movies, spending time with family and friends and traveling. He is survived by his wife of fifty-six years, JoAnne Milam Hall; one daughter, Kimberly Ann Musick and husband Jeff, of Statesville, NC; one son, Phillip Maynard Hall and wife Angie, of Bluff City, TN; two sisters, Sylvia Lee Marion and husband Buddy, of Pinnacle, NC, and Bettie Lou Semones and husband Wise, of Suffolk, VA; two brothers, Ranzie Elbert Hall and wife Connie, of Mount Airy, NC, and Barney Ray Hall and wife Wanda, of Carrollton, VA; five grandchildren, Andrew Musick, Aaron Musick, Zachary Hall, Davis Hall, and Emily Musick; and several special nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, 2016, at Anderson Street United Methodist Church, Bristol, Tennessee. Funeral Service for Mr. Clive Maynard Hall will follow at 7 p.m. with Dr. Barbara Doyle and Reverend Bob Tripp officiating. Committal and Entombment will be held Monday, December 6, 2016, at 10:00am in the Heritage Chapel of Memories at Glenwood Cemetery, Bristol, Tenn. Military honors will be rendered by the Bristol VFW Honor Guard Post #6975. Pallbearers will be Louis Gurley, Bill Edwards, Wayne Wright, Todd Austin, Frank Rhoton, Jim Musick, Chuck Ryan and Jack Malcolm. Honorary pallbearers will be the employees of Tennessee Floral. The family appreciates the love and care extended to Mr. Hall by his many family and friends.
