Clyde graduated from Shaw University. He married Joyce davis in 53, and they lived together in Allen. Clyde worked at postal worker.

Clyde is survived by 3 children: Lynda davis (Leslie smith), Earl davis (Francisco rivera), and . He also is survived by 2 grandchildren.
