Connie Butler, 73, of Delaware, Ohio, passed away on hospice November 14, 2024, surrounded by beloved family. Born to Oren and Juanita Dorsey, July 13, 1951.
Connie leaves behind her loving family, including her children, Jody Knight (David) and Jason Butler; her grandson, Logan Evans; her brothers, David Dorsey and Tom Dorsey; her sisters, Wendy Held and Rebecca Dorsey; and many nieces and nephews.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents; her adored grandmother, Thelma Stimmel, whose love and influence shaped her life; her sister, Linda Ramsey; and her precious grandson, Bryce Liddle, who was her bright light and source of joy
Connie graduated from Rutherford B. Hayes High School and completed her cosmetology training in 1969. She devoted over 21 years to her career at Flexible in Delaware, Ohio.
Connie was an active and loving member of Northgate Church, Sunbury, Ohio, where she lived out her faith as a loving devoted disciple of Jesus Christ. Connie’s love of dance was a celebration of her faith and a testament to her infectious enthusiasm.
Connie was a rare gift – a stranger to no one and a friend to all. Her generous spirit, unwavering strength and unconditional love made her an extraordinary mother, family member and friend.
A celebration of life will be held at Northgate Church, Sunbury, Ohio, on January 11 at 10 a.m. The family kindly requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to help offset the expenses related to Connie's passing.

Connie became a friend when I visited my VanBrimmer grandparents who lived near her east of downtown Delaware. She remained a friend always. Will be so missed by all of us.

Connie has been a dear friend for many years. One of those friends that you don’t see everyday but when we got together we picked right up. She was always happy to see me and my family members and always showed her love. Many prayers for her family.
