YORK Connie J. and Anthony J. Zorbaugh passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at their residence. They were married 43 years. The visitation will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 2114 W. Market St. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 231 S. Beaver St., with the Rev. Keith Carrol as the celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Saviour Cemetery with full military honors provided by the York County
Veterans Honor Guard. A celebration of life party at the Brenner Hall of St. Patrick Church will follow. Connie was born on July 25, 1952, in York, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Phyllis (Stacks) Rentzel. She retired from Harley Davidson as an assembler. She was an avid bingo player and loved going to the York Fair. As a child, she was a speed skater. Anthony was born on August 23, 1949, in York, a son of the late Percy and Mary (Kuhn) Zorbaugh. He was a director with Planned Parenthood in Gettysburg, having worked with HIV patients. He was a
U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the
Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the American Legion Shiloh Post. They both loved 50s dances. Connie and Anthony are survived by two sons, James A. Zorbaugh and wife Michelle N. of Manchester, and Anthony M. Zorbaugh and wife Ana L., of Palm Bay, Fla.; four grandchildren; Connie's three sisters, Vicky Oberdick of York, Sharon Weyant of Dover, and Wendy Feuntes of Spring Grove; a brother, Michael Rentzel of York; Anthony's four sisters, Theresa Ruby of York, Carolyn Caplinger of York, Patricia McCoy of York, and Liz Fink of Lancaster. Anthony was preceded in death by a brother, James Zorbaugh and a sister, Cecelia Goldstein.
