Padilla, Connie S Connie S. Padilla, age 91, passed away peacefully to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 7, 2016. She was born on October 5, 1925 in Albuquerque, NM. She was a devout wife to Orville F. Padilla (Ex-POW) deceased and a good mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was involved in many ex-prisoner of war activities, Bataan Veterans organization. she was also proficient in ceramics. She is survived by three sons, Robert Bruce Padilla, Alexander Franklin Padilla and Paul Anthony Padilla; one sister, Beatrice Bessera; one sister-in-law, Oralia Candelaria; two granddaughters, Sara Tafoya and husband, Miguel and Selene Padilla; one great-grandson, Darren Tafoya; one great-granddaughter, Elyisa Tafoya. Connie Padilla will be deeply missed by her loving family. A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery for immediate family and friends. Pallbearers will be Frank Bessera Jr., Carlos Bessera, Jimmy Sandoval, Rick Apodaca, Victor Bessera and Shane Dideg. Honorary Pallbearers will be Augi Apodaca and Rudy Bessera.
