Connie Merriman, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and friend, passed away on May 1, 2024, in Willard, Missouri. She was born on September 3, 1961, to Darrell Taylor and Peggy Watson.

Connie married Doyle Merriman, in 1983, and together they raised three wonderful children: Chad Merriman of Wichita, Ks, Jennifer Havenar-Merriman (spouse Mike) of Wichita, Ks, and Summer Hunsaker of Willard, Mo. She was also blessed with four beautiful grandchildren Allison (Tyler) Wedel, Connor Chamberlain, Elijah and Chase Elswick.

Connie had a zest for life and a love for her family that was unmatched. She spent her days nurturing her flowers, creating beautiful crafts, and cherishing every moment with her loved ones. Her smile could light up a room, and her laughter was infectious.

She attended Marshfield High School, where she made lifelong friends and cherished memories. Connie had a strong faith in God and was saved by grace in 1972, a moment that shaped and guided her throughout her life. She was an active member of Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Springfield, Mo.

Connie will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved. Rest in peace, dear Connie, you will always be remembered with love and laughter.
