Conrad B. Gilliland, 70Conrad B. Gilliland, 70, of Greenwood passed away on October 10, 2013. He was born on March 24, 1943 in Danville, IL a son of Conrad L. and Aida N. (Hart). Survivors include his wife Betty, son Bill (Angie) Gilliland, sister Marilla Bottomley, and 2 grandchildren Grace and Sophie Gilliland. Conrad served our country in the
United States Navy from 1964-1970. He attended Eastern Illinois University. Conrad was the owner of The Flower Nook in Fowler, IN from 1972-1989 and worked at the Indiana Department of Education, School Lunch Division Computer Consultant from 1981-2009. He was a member of Greenwood Presbyterian and enjoyed golfing and computer programming. Conrad was also the recipient of the Sagamore of the Wabash award twice in his lifetime. Visitation will be on Sunday, October 13, at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel, 481 West Main Street, Greenwood, from 4-6 PM. The funeral service will be on Monday at Greenwood Presbyterian Church, 102 East Main Street, Greenwood, at 11 AM with a visitation there from 10-11 AM. The Reverend Cheryl Montgomery will officiate. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
