May 12.2024 Corey Antwan Glover passed away peacefully at his place of residence; Corey was the youngest child of a family of ten. Corey was educated in the Boston public school system and received his high school diploma while he was incarcerated. Corey was a very social outgoing loving person with whomever he encountered. Everyone who knew Corey knows that no time to get ready you better be ready because he had that phone out ready to snap some pictures or make a quick video for his memories, he was funny! Talking about a quick learner Corey had no hesitation with picking up on all the latest dance moves, if no one else was on that dance floor he got the party started for sure he loved to dance. He also had that special eye for fashion! Before going away for some time and after coming home he was always Fly. “That” he got from his momma and all his siblings. He had an agenda he was in the making of ultimately starting a business as a personal trainer and maybe even a dog trainer which he is certified for both. That’s what he loved to do Corey also mentored youths in prison, trained them in fitness he also trained several service dogs for almost 30 years He was involved with the every-self-help program which held (82) facilitating (24) of them with the Jericho Circle Project and the national organization alternative to violence, and has trained (100) men to be facilitators as well as (32) Brothers in the community. Corey has enthusiastically agreed to work with AVP and develop a program specifically for urban youth to try to stop the violence0 He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them- and if you knew him, you knew it. When his time came, he carried himself with dignity, strength, and full of love for those who went before him. He will be missed dearly.
