Celebration of life for Corey West Walker, passed on July 23, 2023. Corey was born on November 02, 1982.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Eugene Crusto. Corey was full of love and joy. Everyone he came across loved him. Growing up wasn’t easy for Corey. His birth mom took a turn for the worse. When he was a very young boy his birth mom left Corey at her good friends Yoli house in Oakland , CA and never returned. His mother was introduced to drugs. He never knew his birth father nor did he know if was the only child living or deceased . He grew up in Oakland, CA where Corey was raised by Yoli West Walker and Peter Walker he was only 1-2 months old. Where he was loved , and surrounded by a godly family. He instantly gained bonus siblings . Ulysses Walker, Ebony Walker , followed by three god sisters Regina Thompson, Joanna Walker Collins, Lashawn Reed, two god brothers Jamark Thompson and Omari Jones. He was a God father of one little girl Nyra Rose. He was loved and accepted as their on. Although his birth mother decided to leave , he was blessed into a family of love, family of forgiveness, a family of God. He loved music , fashion , cars , water and enjoyed family time. He grew up wanting to learn to cut hair his dreams and aspirations was to own his own barbershop. He said there's something about a haircut that makes you feel like a new you. Sadly, He followed down the wrong path and now he’s no longer here to live out that dream he loved. We will always celebrate him. He was the life of the party , even with a piece of him missing he still wanted to give. He wanted to see and do so many things as a young boy he had a lot of things he wanted out of life . But it was not enough time. God had other plans.

It broke our hearts to lose you, but you did not go alone.

Apart of us went with you, the day God took you home.

If tears could build a stairwell , and heartaches make a lane, we'd walk our way to heaven, and bring you back again.

In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still in our hearts you hold a place no one could ever fill.
