We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Crist Vann Jr., who was born on June 12, 1975 in Newport News VA, and passed away on December 2, 2023, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, United States.

He was preceded by his mother Aurelia Vann-Joyner, his son Trei-Roan Vann, his daughter April Vann, his sister Philamena Vann -Parrott, his niece Latoya Vann-Bullock. He was survived by his late father, Crist Vann Sr. He leaves behind his daughter Nikki Daughtrey, his son David Vann, his brother Jacobie Vann, his niece Tonya Vann and his nephew Travis Vann, and his wife Amy Vann of 16 years. He was a loving and supportive grandfather to his four grandchildren.

Crist studied at Menchville High School and graduated in 1994. He was a big Cowboys fan, and had a huge passion for football. He enjoyed collecting game systems and raising his beloved Pitt Bulls. In his free time he loved to volunteer with his son boys scout group. He loved to give back to the community and do different things for the kids around the holidays.

Crist Vann Jr. was a man of incredible character. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his ability to make anyone laugh, and his kindness that could light up a room. His legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched. Crist may be gone but he will be missed by everyone who got the privilege to know him and remembered for generations to come.
