Harlingen - Cristina Zamora Yzaguirre, 86, was called to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, November 14, 2016.She was born on August 28, 1930 in Harlingen, Texas to Nicolas & Francisca Zamora.She is preceded in death by both her parents, and siblings, Sofia Yzaguirre, Manuel Zamora, Jose Zamora Sr., & Gumecindo Zamora.Cristina is survived by her loving family to cherish her wonderful memory, her husband of 60 years, Apolonio Yzaguirre; sons, Juan (Debbie) Yzaguirre, & Alberto (Alma) Echartea; granddaughter, Abby Garza; grandson, Christian A. Echartea; 2 great grandchildren, RJ & Alexis Garza; sisters, Aurora Zamora & Anita Longoria; and numerous nieces & nephews. Cristina was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her.Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 16, 2016 from 3pm to 9pm with a prayer service at 7pm at Trinity Funeral Chapel.Funeral service will be held Thursday, November 17, 2016 at 10am at Trinity Funeral Chapel with interment to follow to Las Rusias Cemetery in Los Indios, Texas.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Trinity at Harrison Funeral Home 1002 East Harrison Avenue Harlingen, Texas 78550 (956)364-2444.
