Celebration of Life Services for Crystal Mae Hill will be held on May 1st at 11:00am at the Grace Lutheran Church. Visitation will be on April 30th from 5:00pm-7:00pm at the Johnson Funeral Home.Crystal Mae Hill was born in undefined on March 19, 1957, and was the oldest child of John and Mary Hill. She was a graduate of undefined High School and later attended the University of undefined where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Mathematics.Crystal was a devoted member of her community and church. She volunteered countless hours at the local food pantry, was a Sunday School teacher, and served on the Board of Directors for the undefined Children's Hospital.Crystal's career spanned over 30 years as a high school math teacher. She had an unwavering passion for educating and empowering her students. Her dynamic teaching style and ability to connect with her students inspired countless young minds and instilled confidence in their abilities and potential.Outside of work, Crystal was an avid traveler with a passion for exploring new places and cultures. She had an adventurous spirit and often spent summers in Europe, where she enjoyed hiking and exploring the local landscapes. She was also an accomplished gardener and spent hours tending to her vibrant roses, irises, and wildflowers.Crystal was deeply committed to her family and cherished spending time with her loved ones. She was a devoted sister, aunt, and friend, and was always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.Crystal Mae Hill passed away on April 23, 2023, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Though she will be deeply missed, Crystal's legacy will live on through the countless lives she touched as a teacher, volunteer, friend, and family member.Crystal is survived by her siblings and their families, including her brother John Hill, his wife Susan, and their children Sarah and Andrew Hill; and her sister Linda Smith, her husband Mike, and their children, Rachel and David.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Crystal's honor to the undefined Food Pantry or the undefined Children's Hospital.
