Curtis DaWayne Morris, 48, of Snyder, Oklahoma, passed on August 31, 2023 at his home. DaWayne was born on December 22, 1974 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Delores "Faye" Dwyer and Clifford "Junior" James Morris. He is preceded in death by his father Clifford "Junior" James Morris, many other special family members/friends and his beloved dog ROCO. He is survived by his sons Brodie Morris of Mt.Park, OK, and Beaux Short of Central, LA, His mom Faye Dwyer of Snyder, OK, Sister Crystal & Cesar Marroquin, Nieces Victoria (torina), Izabella(Bella) and Ameliana (millie) as he called them, Nephew Dakotah & Maddie Grill great nephew Nova and great niece Athena all of Snyder, OK, Sister Cindy Gilbreath of Bryan, TX, sister Kelly Pool of Aransas Pass,TX . Niece Desiree Evans and nephew Bradlee Evans of Bryan, TX. and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that loved him. He moved to Snyder, Oklahoma in 1991 with his mom and sister. Where he attended Snyder High School and graduated in 1994.
DaWayne had a heart of gold; anyone from his childhood or adult life could confirm. He was kind, funny, charismatic, selfless, loyal, and always tried to find the positive in any situation. He will be missed dearly by family and friends.
