Curtis William Oliver, Jr. peacefully departed this life on July 16th, 2020 at the Clinton Health and Rehabilitation Center. Curtis was the third child of seven born to the late Curtis William Oliver, Sr. and Geraldine Elizabeth Oliver. He was born on January 27, 1961 in Baltimore, Maryland.
Curtis was educated in the Anne Arundel County Public School system. In 1975, Curtis’ running ability earned him a trip to the Los Angeles Special Olympics where he won first place in the 100m dash. He was a respected sanitation worker and a skilled handyman. He was also an avid fan of martial arts. He would often accompany his truck driving friend “Tide” travelling from state to state. Of course, Curtis would make sure that they would have the cleanest truck on the road.
Curtis was blessed to be the father of Curtis William Oliver III in 1981. They developed a great relationship and were not just father and son, they were friends. He leaves behind a great legacy in his son, Curtis III, and his three grandchildren, Silas, Khalil and Jasmin. He also leaves behind 5 sisters: Phyllis, Lucille, Vanessa, Tina and Geraldine; 1 brother- Tony; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many loving friends.
