Cynde K. Skitka, age 43, of Fairview, and formerly of Corry, passed away following a brief illness on Monday October 31, 2016 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. She was born on August 11, 1973, in Erie, Pa., a daughter of Betty Kathleen Sterrett and the late Timothy Allen Perry. Cynde was a homemaker who enjoyed doing crafts. She was very active in her children's lives and was a longtime member of the PTA in Corry. She is survived by her husband, Shawn Skitka; four children, Sara Skitka, Sage (Shawn Whitford) Skitka, Zack (Rebecca Stritzinger) Skitka and Keri (Ellis) Evans; and three grandchildren, Hudson, Tyler and Karissa Evans. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506, on Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
