Cynthia Louise Dahmer, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away peacefully on April 7, 2024, at her home in Stockdale, Texas. She was born on June 2, 1954 in Boulder, CO. She was later adopted, raised and loved by her parents William and Jean O’Brien. She has three surviving brothers John, Patrick, Michael and 3 sisters Bonnie, Mina and Joan. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, 2 sisters and 1 grandson. She was married to her loving husband Michael Dahmer on June 9th 1974. Mike and Cynthia would have celebrated 50 yrs together this June. Together they raised three children: Mina Simpson, William (Bill) Dahmer, and Laura Schilling in the town of Buffalo.
Cynthia was a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother always putting her family first. She took great pride in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, they all brought her immense joy throughout her life. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will always remember her as a loving, caring, giving, funny and adventurous presence in their lives.
Cynthia attended Eaton High School in Colorado, where she graduated in 1973. After high school, Cynthia dedicated her life to her family, raising her children and her work as a CNA and a sterile processing technician.
Throughout her life, Cynthia faced many challenges with grace and strength, always maintaining a positive outlook. Her kind and generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Cynthia’s memory will live on through her husband, children, 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, who will always hold her close in their hearts. She will be remembered for her unconditional and selfless love, unwavering support, and endless kindness towards those she held dear.
To our thief of all the mushy kisses we will miss and love you always. We hope that you are restful now and surrounded by all those we've loved and lost. We will keep you with us always Cindy Lou Who.
