DERRY – Cynthia Ann Perkins, 62, of Derry, died in an automobile accident Monday, Oct. 10, 2016. She was born on Nov. 5, 1953, in Derry, a daughter of Joan M. (Goggin) and the late Richard E. Reynolds. Cindy was a kind, gentle and generous daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.Cindy leaves behind many who will miss her laugh and her easy-going way. She is survived by her mother, Joan Reynolds, her sister Betty Quimby and brother-in law Ralph and their children Tracey and Scott, her brother Richard Reynolds, his wife Cindy and their children Sarah and Danny.Cindy's children Amanda Perkins Walsh and Jason Perkins and their spouses Kevin and Laura are deeply saddened by the sudden loss, both because they will miss her warm heart, and also because the time their children had with their "Nana P" and "Tappy" was far too short. Cindy was the proud and loving grandmother of Hendrix, Ani, Della Mae and Cade. She was happiest when she was with them, reading books, making art, playing games or patiently listening to anything and everything they wanted to talk about. Her memory will live on in them. The family will hold a private celebration of Cindy's life on her birthday, Nov. 5.In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make donations to Special Olympics of New Hampshire, or to the Perkins Family Education Fund at Saco and Biddeford Savings, a college fund set up for her grandchildren.
