Cynthia Coryliss Stern McCain, a 65 year old Buhl Idaho resident went home to the Lord on April 19, 2019, due to complications of her Multiple Sclerosis. She was born July 12, 1953, in Billing Montana to Herbert Stern and Alma Schock Stern. She was the youngest of four children.
She graduated from Belfry High School and then put herself thru beauty school. November 29, 1976, her only son Shane was born. He was her pride and joy. She loved being a mother. In 1986 she was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. This was hard for her but she did not let it get in her way of living her life. She always saw the best in people and often offered help and encouragement to those who she saw in need of it. Her door was always open and everyone always felt welcome.
September 12, 2005, she married John (TJ) Parker after many years of courtship. She loved being a wife. She loved caring for and tending to his needs and the needs of others. She loved all animals and wanted to give as many strays and pound puppies the chance to have a good life as she could. She was a caregiver in a broken body. Now she is in the hands of the lord free from the restraints, pain and the frustrations she had in her life here on earth.
She is survived by her son Shane Stern (Heather Braten) of Buhl Idaho and brother Cameron Stern (Dolores) of Alamogordo New Mexico, 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren with 1 more on the way. She is preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Alma Stern and 2 brothers, Curtis Stern and Cordell Stern.
The memorial will be held at the Bethlehem Luthern Church in Billings at 11 am with a pot luck luncheon to celebrate her life. Graveside services will conclude at 1 PM at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Donations for services can be made to the family or a donation to the local animal shelter, for multiple sclerosis research or a women's cancer fund in Cindy's name.
