LAGRANGE — Cynthia C. Nickells, 42, of Big Turkey Lake, LaGrange, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2016, at her home. She was born on March 24, 1974, in Hicksville, Ohio, to Darrell and Cheryl (Janish) Nickells. She graduated from high school and Med Tech. Cynthia was a lab technician at Parkview Noble Hospital. She is resting with her father, Darrell, and grandparents, Sam and Virgie Nickells. She is survived by her fiance of 19 years, Michael Garman, and their son, Gavin Michael Garman; her mother and stepfather, Cheryl and Donnie Miller of Flint, Michigan; a sister, Tonya McCray of Ashley; a brother, Darrell and Sarah Nickells of Cornelius, North Carolina; a half brother Bubs (Darrell); her fiance's parents, Richard and Karen Garman of Pleasant Lake; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at 6 p.m., with calling from 2-6 p.m., at Johnson Funeral Home, Hudson, Indiana. Pastor Donna Holcomb will officiate. Memorials are to the family.
