It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of D’Juana Anne Kraft on April 29, 2024 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. D’Juana along with her two grandsons lived in Sherrills Ford, North Carolina. She was born in Minnesota on June 8, 1966 to her beloved mother Anita Anderson, who she is now rein-united with in heaven.
D’Juana is survived by her “one and only” son, Justen Disterhaupt (Sarah Cain), also her four sisters Leaha Kraft Clarke (Bob Clarke), Kyra B (…), Tamera Jo Barnett (Phil Barnett), and Arlene KoePal (…) and two brothers Todd Kraft (…) and Chad Kraft. Her six grandchildren, (oldest to youngest) Jae’Da Disterhaupt, Lelynd Disterhaupt, Lukas Disterhaupt, Justen Jr. Disterhaupt, Amillia (Milli) Disterhaupt and Cohen Disterhaupt, as well as each one of her friends who she cared for and loved dearly!
Throughout her life, D’Juana found joy and fulfillment in being an amazing sister, mother, friend and Granny. She loved spending time making jokes and singing with her family, friends and especially her grandbabies and creating lasting memories with them.
Tragically, D’Juana passed away due to a mass the size of a tennis ball on her brain. After many tests the mass came back as Glioblastoma - Brain Cancer which was accidentally found after she was hospitalized after being in a motor vehicle accident.
She will forever be remembered for her unique sense of humor, her unmatched warmth of love, and unwavering devotion to her grand babies. D’Juana’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. The world will be a different place without you but the night sky will be even brighter as your star shines upon us.
MAY SHE REST IN PEACE.
