Dale L. Clark, 87Dale L. Clark, 87, of Lafayette, formerly of Peru, Indiana, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2014 in IU Health Arnett.Dale was born on June 6, 1927 in Peru, Indiana to the late Orval and Ethel Robertson Clark.On October 18, 1958 he married Rose M. Wentzel in the Delphi Lutheran Church; she survives. Dale was previously married to the late Irma Marken.Dale worked several different jobs over the years, the last of which he was a self-employed truck driver for Clark Trucking. He previously was a farmer and salesman.Dale was a member of the VFW, Moose, Eastern Star of Converse No. 334, Elks, a Past Master of the Peru-Miami Masonic Lodge No. 67, member of the Murat Shrine Club and the Past President of the Indybago Club.Dale enjoying golfing, league bowling with the Moose, and mowing grass, he was also known for being able to fix anything.Surviving with his wife, Rose are five sons; Steve Clark of Rochester, IN, Dennis (Pam) Clark of Peru, IN, Mark (Janette) Clark of Montgomery, NY, Brad Clark and Brian (Lori) Clark both of Lafayette. Also surviving is one sister; Eileen Sullivan of South Carolina; 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great, great granddaughter.Dale is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 4 grandchildren.Friends may call on Monday, September 22, 2014 from 5p.m. to 8p.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Lafayette. Masonic Services will be held at 7p.m. A graveside service will be held at 1p.m. on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru, Indiana.Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children in memory of Dale; envelopes will be available at the funeral chapel.
