Dale R BarnesOctober 11, 1932 - September 24, 2016Dale R Barnes passed away on September 24th at his Boise home as a result of Pulmonary Fibrosis. His wife of 46 years, Evelyn (Puggy), and his loving family were by his side. Dale was born on October 11, 1932 in Lewiston, ID.Dale is survived by his children David, Debbie, Steve, Kelly, Joanne, Sally, Terri, Jodi, Donny several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Dale was preceded in death by his parents, first wife (Nancy) his daughter Charleen (Peanuts) and a grandson.Dale worked many years in the treasure valley as a heavy equipment operator, contributing his talents and knowledge to the growth of the area including projects such as the excavation of the US bank building in downtown Boise among several others.He was a huge prankster of those he loved, always looking for opportunities to make us jump in fear and then laughing at us. His mischievous sense of humor included doing things like; trying to bite your hand if you reached towards him, hiding things to scare the pants off you and jumping out of places unexpectedly, all to get you to smile or scream and then laugh.Rest in peace, Dale! The lessons that you taught and the love you gave will live forever. At Dale's request, there will be no service.
