It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dan Sellers, who peacefully left this world on May 25, 2024. Born on May 7, 1946 in Iowa City, Iowa, Dan was a loving husband, father, and friend.

Dan was a devoted parent to his four children - Bradley Giesking, Debra Giesking, Todd Giesking, and Kristy Rippentrop. He was incredibly proud of his children and their accomplishments, always offering his unwavering support and love.

Dan attended Sigourney High School, graduating in 1963. He served bravely in the Army, demonstrating his commitment to serving his country. After his time in the military, Dan pursued his passion for hunting, boating, and fishing. These hobbies brought him immense joy and allowed him to connect with nature in a profound way.

Throughout his life, Dan touched the hearts of everyone he met with his kind spirit and generous nature. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
