We are saddened to announce the passing of Dana Cooper, who was born on October 13, 1965, in Clarksville, Tennessee. Dana passed away on September 12, 2025, surrounded by loved ones.

Dana was the beloved child of Larry and Mary Cooper. They are survived by their two children, Megan Downey (spouse Harley Downey) and Pamela Sly (spouse Michael Sly). Dana also leaves behind two adored grandchildren, Hayven Downey and Damien Downey.

Dana dedicated his life to serving in the Army for 25 years before retiring in 2010. Their commitment and bravery will always be remembered.

Outside of work, Dana's greatest joy came from spending time with his family. Whether it was a weekend barbeque or a family vacation, Dana cherished every moment with those they loved. Dana had just celebrated his youngest daughter’s 10th year sobriety, September, 9th, 2025.

On September 12, 2025, Dana passed away from a sudden heart attack. While our hearts are heavy with grief, we take comfort in knowing that Dana is now at peace.

Dana's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved them. He will always be remembered for his kind heart, His unwavering strength, and his devotion to family.
