It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel Darrell Hunter, beloved father, and grandfather. Daniel was born on July 9, 1965, in Harriman, Tennessee to Willie Eugene Hunter and Brenda Joyce Hunter.

He is preceded in death by: his father, Gene Hunter, his daughter, Lindsay Carter, and a host of aunts and uncles.

He is survived by:

Mother: Brenda Joyce Hunter

Brother: Marvin Ray Hunter

Children: Nicole Gayhart, Johnny Gayhart, Charles Gayhart, and Matthew Gayhart.

Grandchildren: John, Javian, Kinley, Liam, Ayden, Samantha, Heather, and Kamden.

He is survived by a host of cousins and his dear Aunt Frances Griffin Carter as well.

Daniel had a passion for painting cars, rebuilding engines, and fishing with his family. He was known for his meticulous attention to detail and his unwavering dedication to his craft. His skills were unmatched, and he took great pride in his work.

On March 16, 2020, Daniel passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and hard work. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
