Slomski, Daniel A.Daniel A. Slomski, age 68 of Neenah, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, June 24, 2017. He was born on October 4, 1948 to Alvin and Shirley Slomski and resided in Neenah. Dan proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He went on to work for many years at Kimberly Clark in Neenah and Fullerton, CA before retiring. He married Dottie Cross and enjoyed 42 years together. Dan always had the gift of gab and could make a friend anywhere. He was a person who just made people happy, and people flocked to him for that. Dan was an avid Broncos fan and enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who grew into all of his roles. Dan was loved dearly by his family, and he'll be missed greatly.He is survived by his wife Dottie Slomski; mother Shirley Slomski; children: Ryan Rigsby, Peggy Hayes, Dean Blank, Lori Spencer, and Brenda Radloff; siblings: Michael Slomski, Barbara Renoux, Val Finch, Randy Slomski, Shelly Deltour, John Slomski, and Philip Slomski. He is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Dan was preceded in death by his father Alvin Slomski; daughters Lori Kern and Connie Keller; and brothers Mark and Patrick Slomski.The Funeral Service for Dan will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Neenah's Westgor Funeral Home, 205 W. Doty Avenue, with Rev. Robert Wilkinson officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of the service.
