Cebula, DanielDaniel P. Cebula, 88, Bevent, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at Ministry St. Clare's Hospital, Weston.He was born on July 18, 1929, in the town of Reid, the son of the late Peter and Susie (Gorski) Cebula.Daniel was a United States Army Veteran, serving from 1954 to 1956 at Fort Lewis, Washington.On September 7, 1957, Daniel was united in marriage to Gladys Zander at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. She survives. Daniel and Gladys were about to celebrate 60 years of marriage.Daniel was employed at Drott-JI Case until his retirement in 1989. He was an active member of St. Ladislaus Catholic Church and it's Men's Society. Daniel enjoyed fishing, hunting, polka music and dancing. Daniel is survived by his wife, Gladys Cebula of Bevent; four children, Dale Cebula of Punta Cana, Perry (Tina) Cebula and Lonnie Cebula all of Bevent and Tammi Bernarde of Weston; seven grandchildren, Dustin (Jessica) Cebula, Josh (Kristin) Cebula, Ashley (Luke) Moore, Darrick Kingston, Daisha Kingston and Brooke and Brianna Bernarde; four great-grandchildren, Devin, Jaxton, Emma and Ella and siblings, Mattie Wanta of Bevent, Pauline Page of the town of Reid, William (Maryann) Cybula of Ringle, Marian Kostka of Milwaukee, Natalie (LaVerne) Ostrowski of Bevent and Jim (Marcia) Cebula of Milwaukee.Daniel was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Terry Bernarde and siblings, Lambert, Hank and Alex.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12NOON on Friday, September 8, 2017 at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, Bevent. Fr. Augustine Bentil will officiate. Interment will be in the Parish Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Elderon Memorial Post #8068
Veterans of Foreign Wars. Visitation will be on Friday from 9AM until the time of Mass at the church.
