Daniel Clair IversonDes MoinesDaniel Clair Iverson (known as Clair) was born on July 22, 1929 in Iroquois, South Dakota, to Martin Herman and Doris Iverson. He is survived by one sister, Carol Sue of Plainwell, Michigan; three stepchildren Kirk (Denise) Stuart of Haddonfield, NJ; David (Karen) Stuart, of Little Rock, AR; and Lisa Merritt of Slater, IA. Clair was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Dean of Indianola, and Gerald of Kernville, CA; and one sister, Lorna of Indianola, IA. His family moved to Iowa in 1938, where he graduated from Indianola High School in 1947. Clair worked for the John Deere Company from 1964 to 1994. He married Carol Stuart on December 17, 1983. Clair passed away on June 20, 2015. A joint Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 3 p.m. at Madrid Home, 613 W North St, Madrid, IA 50156, together with that of his late wife, Carol, who passed away on July 23, 2017.
