Daniel Lee CrewMarch 20th, 1938 - October 29th, 2014Daniel Lee Crew passed away October 29th, 2014 at home in Boise, Idaho. Dan was born on March 20th 1938 in Caldwell, Idaho. Dan is survived by his wife, Gerri Crew. Dan and Gerri shared a wonderful marriage of 56 years, raising three daughters; Cindy (and Rex Barrie), Michelle (and Ed Curtis), and Sandra Crew. Dan is also survived by his sister Janet (and Darrell Cornell), and brothers Michael Crew (and Leslie Crew), and John Crew. Dan had an extensive military career spanning 42 years beginning in 1956, and culminating in 1998 as Chief of Staff of the Idaho Army National Guard, where he retired as a Brigadier General.After retirement, Dan had more time to enjoy his woodworking hobby, spending many hours in his shop creating custom cabinetry and works of art. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 5th, 2014 at 12:30 PM at the Cloverdale Funeral Home, 1200 N. Cloverdale Road, Boise Idaho. Dan will be laid to rest with full military honors immediately following the services at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, located at 9600 W. Hill Road.
