Daniel C. DeanJanuary 1, 1952 - September 25, 2014Daniel Chris Dean 62 of Emmett died Sept. 25, 2014 at a local hospital. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, October 3rd at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett. Following the service there will be a gathering at the Dean home. Daniel was born on Jan. 1, 1952 in Eugene, Oregon to George and Linda Lewis Dean. Daniel was raised in the Pacific Northwest, traveling with his family because his father worked on large bridge building projects. Daniel married Frankie Anderson on Oct 14, 1969 at Nampa. This October they would have celebrated their 45th anniversary. They have lived in Emmett for most of their married life. Daniel worked for Campbell Tractor for 40 years, retiring in Dec. of 2013. He is survived by his loving wife Frankie, his daughters Amanda (Gene) Corn and Marcy (Nick) Solterbeck all of Emmett. Gene and Nick were the two sons they never had.Siblings include Mitch (Jan) Dean of Middleton, Mike Dean of Palisades, CA., Debbie (Rod) Bean of Nampa and Denise Mattocks of Middleton, his grandchildren Tyler and Tate Corn and Logan and Abbie Solterbeck who were everything to papa.
