VanGruensven, Daniel J.Daniel Joseph VanGruensven, 63, De Pere, passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. Dan was born on August 31, 1953 to Joseph and Patricia (Murphy) VanGruensven. He graduated from West De Pere High School. Dan was employed by U.S. Paper until his retirement in August 2013.Dan enjoyed traveling and spending time up north.Dan is survived by his mother, Patricia VanGruensven; his siblings, Karen (Mark) Staerk, Debra (Ralph) Hockers, Tom VanGruensven, Mark (Tami) VanGruensven and Gerald (MaryBeth) VanGruensven; nieces and nephews, Austin Baldwin, Matthew Staerk (Timothy Kelly), Eric (Jil) Hockers and their daughter Megan, Shaun Hockers (special friend Rachael Vanden Langenberg), Chad (Bilan) Hockers, Jacob Van Gruensven (special friend Crystal Sotka), Nicholas VanGruensven (special friend Kiedra Ahlswede) and Jenna VanGruensven, many relatives and friends.In addition to his father Joseph VanGruensven, Dan is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard (Martha) Van Gruensven, Edward (Blanche) Murphy; great nephews, Liam & Noah Hockers, aunts and uncles.
