We are sad to announce the passing of Daniel Ricketts, who left this world on 11/04/2024 in Danville, Virginia. He was born on 01/03/1937 to Charles and Wilma and married his beloved wife Betty in 1978.

Daniel is survived by his three children, Brett Allen, Sherry, and Linda, as well as his two grandchildren. We have chosen not to disclose their names as they have already suffered enough by being related to Daniel.

Daniel attended Vincennes High School, where he graduated in 2018 before moving on to Vu, where he graduated in 1964. Despite his many academic achievements, Daniel's true passion lay in Carpentry, where he could often be found crafting masterpieces in his workshop.

Although Daniel's passing was due to natural causes, we can't help but think that perhaps his heart finally gave out from all the years of laughter and joy he brought to those around him. Rest in peace, Daniel. We will miss your jokes and your carpentry skills.
