Daniel R. Buri UNION GROVE – Daniel R. Buri, age 45, passed away peacefully at Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare in Franklin on May 8, 2015. He was born on October 10, 1969 in Racine to parents David and Patricia (nee. Theama) Buri. On September 9, 1995, he married Heidi Smith. Daniel loved the outdoors. Deer hunting and fishing were his favorite outdoor activities. He also enjoyed shooting pool. Daniel was also an avid Brewers and Packers fan. He was currently working at New Berlin Grading as a foreman. He was a good friend to many and extremely hardworking. Daniel will always be remembered as a caring and devoted, husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He was very special to everyone he knew. Daniel is survived by his loving wife, Heidi; his children, Marissa and Brett Buri; his parents, David and Patricia Buri; his siblings, Dave (Linda) Buri, Hollie (Greg) Foust, and Denise (Jason) Criplean; his grandmother, Garnet Theama; sister-in-law, Leah Grimm; Heidi’s parents, Gary and Linda Rockwell; he is further survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and other friends. Visitation for Daniel’s family and friends will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Union Grove, on May 15, 2015 from 5-8 pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday morning, from 10-11 am. Funeral services will follow, officiated by Pastor David Ramirez. The family would like to offer a special thank you to the people of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church; Ken Kroeger and Greg Brubakken of New Berlin Grading; and Melissa Marino. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family would be appreciated to offset medical and funeral expenses.
