Daniel R. WardAGE: 73 • HolmdelDaniel R. Ward, 73, of Holmdel, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Daniel was born on April 5,1943 in Jersey City, and was raised in Keansburg. He also lived in Hazlet, Jackson, Keyport, and Sea Girt, before settling in Holmdel in 2008. He worked for National Lead Company in Sayreville, before retiring as a crane operator for Gerdau Amera Steel Company in Perth Amboy. He was also a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was predeceased by his parents, Viola (Glynn) and Joseph Ward, and his beloved son, Daniel R. Ward Jr. Daniel is survived by his loving companion, Maureen Lonergan, of Holmdel, his loving daughter, Kristin Marie Ward, of Brick, and his cherished grandson, Kieren Daniel Donohue. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, March 23rd from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM, and Friday morning, March 24th from 10 to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Hwy./Rt. 35 N., Hazlet.
