It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danitra Hancock, who passed away on December 23, 2024, in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on April 24, 1971, to her loving parents Paul and Dorene Saunders.

Danitra is survived by her partner, Malik Saunders, and their two beloved children, Jeremiah Saunders and Michelle Saunders. She adored her family and was dedicated to their happiness and well-being.

She attended Whetstone High School and graduated in 1989 before continuing her studies at Western Kentucky University. Afterward, she dedicated her time and efforts to helping others through her work with the Faith Mission organization.

When she wasn't busy making the world a better place, Danitra enjoyed spending time in her garden, caring for her children, and being heavily involved in her church. She will be remembered for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering faith.

Though she is no longer with us, Danitra's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace.
