Danny A. Craycraft, 67Bowling Green, KY - Danny A. Craycraft, 67, passed away Saturday afternoon July 15, 2017, at Common Wealth Regional Specialty Hospital following a brief illness in the presence of his family.  He was born on March 20, 1950, in Muncie, the son of Imon and Betty (Coats) Craycraft.Danny is a 1968 graduate of Wapahani High School and later married the love of his life, Connie (Franklin) on March 3, 1970, in Muncie and she survives. Mr. Cray craft had worked as a Carpenter/ Laborer for the Attlin Construction Company prior to serving Borg-Warner as a Machinist for over 20 years, retiring in 2006.  He is a charter member of the Sons of the American Legion Selma Post 437, United Auto Workers Union local 287, the Carpenters union, the Laborers Union and formerly attended Old Town Hill Baptist Church.  Danny enjoyed collecting antiques and knickknacks.Besides his wife of 47 years, Connie, he is survived by one brother, Bruce Craycraft, Albany, Kentucky; two sisters, Gennie Lou Bower (husband-Steve) and Angela McClain (husband-Terry), both of Muncie; several nieces and nephews; Barney his pet Rat Terrier.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tammie Sue Craycraft in 2001; his parents; one brother Junior Craycraft.Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 21, 2017, 10:00 a.m. at the Parson Mortuary with Pastor Bruce Stearns officiating.  Burial will follow at the Gardens of Memory Cemetery north of Muncie.Friends may call at the Parson Mortuary on Thursday, July 20, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday, July 21, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. until service time.Memorial contributions may be made to Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) 1209 W.
