SYRACUSE — Danny A. "Dan" Brown, 75, of Cromwell, Indiana, passed away at 2:45 a.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2016, at North Ridge Village Nursing & Rehab in Albion. He was born on September 4, 1940, in Cromwell, Indiana, to Dennis H. and Barsha N. (Miller) Brown. He was a lifetime Noble County area resident and graduated in 1958 from Cromwell High School. On July 14, 1961, at Broadway Christian Church in Kimmell, Indiana, he married Diana Jo Baker who survives. He was a retired farmer and was formerly employed as a supervisor at Superior Sample in Ligonier for 15 years. He was a member of the North Webster Church of God, Wawasee Camp of the Gideon's in Syracuse, and was an avid baseball player. He is survived by his wife, Diana Brown of Cromwell; a daughter, Jackie Brown of Kimmell; a son, Dana (Amy) Brown of Cromwell; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday, September 1, 2016, at Owen Family Funeral Home, S.R 13 and C.R. 500N, North Webster, Indiana. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, September 2, 2016, in the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the church officiating. Burial will follow at the Sparta Cemetery in Kimmell.
