Danny D. Lee, died Thursday, December 29, 2017 while working near Chancellor, SD.Funeral services will be10:00am, Monday, January 2, 2017 at the Viborg Community Center with Fr. David Roerich officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery at Centerville, SD.Visitation will be Sunday, January 2, 2017 from 4 to 6pm with a prayer service beginning at 6:00pm at the Viborg Community Center.Danny D. Lee was born on December 19, 1960 in Auburn Washington and grew up on the family farm in rural Viborg. In 1986, Danny married Kristi (Sullivan) and they moved to the family farm in 1988. Together they raised five beautiful children and were foster parents to many many children. Danny was a Journeyman Electrician and worked for Sorlien Electric of Tea for twenty-eight years. A lifelong member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church of Centerville and also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Danny had a wealth of knowledge, he had a passion for hunting, carpentry work, and tinkering with about anything he could. Although, his true passion in life was "his girls", which he always had by his side lending a helping hand while he was teaching them. Danny is survived by his wife, and the love of his life Kristi; five daughters: Jennifer (Eric) DeKam, Katelynn (Matt) Rempp, Jessica Lee (Nate Kirk), Duana Lee, and Kendra Lee; one granddaughter Quinn DeKam; his sisters Jean (Lyle) Henrickson, Pat (Lloyd) Hanes, Kathy (Ron) Brion and brother David Lee.
