Danny RamirezAbilene, TXDanny Ramirez, 54, of Abilene, passed away Saturday, March 25, 2017, at a local hospital with his family by his side. Funeral services will be 11:00AM, Friday, March 31, 2017 at the North 5th and Grape Church of Christ, 433 Grape Street, with Pastor Mike Bonner officiating, directed by Abilene Funeral Home. Danny was born on August 23, 1962, in Abilene, Texas to Jesse Ramirez and Maria Luisa Jimenez Ramirez. He graduated from Abilene High School in 1981 and worked as a truck driver. Danny enjoyed fishing, grilling and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was deeply loved and will be greatly missed.Danny is survived by his daughter, Amy Ramirez (Stephen Wright); sons, Matthew Ramirez, Nathan (Letty) Ramirez of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Jesus Ramirez; sisters, Dolores Sanchez, Mary Ann (Melvin) Martin; brothers, Daniel Ramirez of Chicago, Illinois and Jesse Ramirez Jr. of Little Rock, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Stephen and Kamden Wright, Alaunna Ramirez and Lilah Ramirez. Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Ramirez and son, Joshua Ramirez.The family will receive friends at a visitation from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at Abilene Funeral Home Chapel of Hope, 3349 N. 12th Street.
