It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daphanne Poole, who was born on June 16, 1940, in Grambling, Louisiana, United States, and passed away on May 9, 2024.

Daphanne was the beloved daughter of Samuel Poole and Alfreda Jones Gordon. She was a devoted mother to her four children, Karen&(Kim Ware)Donald Poole, Bettie Poole, and Betrice Poole. She was also a cherished grandmother to six grandchildren.

Daphanne grew up in Grambling, Louisiana, where she attended Louisiana High School. She had a passion for learning and spent her life dedicated to education.

In her free time, Daphanne enjoyed cooking, teaching, reading, and writing. She had a natural talent for creating delicious meals and sharing her knowledge with others. She was a lifelong learner and spent her days immersed in books and writing.

Daphanne will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
