DaQuis Mills, beloved son, father, brother, and friend, was born on July 5, 1986, in Halifax, Virginia to the late Johnathan and Doris Mills. He brought joy and happiness to all who knew him. It is with great sadness that we announce his untimely passing on July 7, 2023, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.

DaQuis was a remarkable individual who made a lasting impact on the lives of those around him. He was known for his infectious laughter, genuine kindness, and unwavering loyalty. His warm smile could light up any room, and his presence was always a source of comfort to his loved ones.Family meant the world to DaQuis, and he cherished the time spent with them.

As a dedicated father, he adored his daughter Da'Lian Mills and worked tirelessly to provide her with a life filled with love and opportunity. His unwavering dedication and support will forever be remembered by those he leaves behind. His siblings Kimberly Davis of Colonial Heights Virginia, Ernestine Daniel and Gregory Mills of Richmond Virginia. Several aunts and uncles, cousins and numerous friends including his best friend Kawon Tucker.

DaQuis had a deep passion for his community, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. He believed in the power of unity and worked towards promoting a sense of togetherness among his friends and neighbors. His commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others was truly inspiring.In his free time, DaQuis enjoyed playing basketball, a sport he excelled at. He was known for his incredible skills on the court and had a true passion for the game. Whether it was shooting hoops with friends or cheering on his favorite team, DaQuis found immense joy in the world of basketball.

DaQuis leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion, and resilience. His memory will forever be cherished by his daughter, siblings, extended family, and countless friends. He taught us the value of living life to the fullest and always finding the silver lining in every situation.While it is heartbreaking to say goodbye to such a vibrant soul, we find solace in knowing that DaQuis' spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched.
