Darcel Eliza Whitted had transitioned to God's kingdom on December 7th 2025. Born in Pittsburgh, PA March 10th 1955 she was a child to Royal Gental Green Whitted and Bessie Whitted, also a sibling to Betram Whitted. In her earlier years she attended Taylor Allderdice High School and graduated later and proceeded her education at Morris Brown University as a Music major. She loved music and sung in the church choir alongside Shirley Caesar in her youth; that very passion translated into her, becoming a pianist, and traveling the world to later becoming a music school teacher in Atlanta GA. She would later give birth to her children Nabil and Theodore. Her love for her family was very evident as she did her absolute best to make sure her sons had the best upbringing.

Darcel was a woman who loved cooking and animals especially dogs, she referred to her pet dogs as her babies,( Mickey, Bubba, RA, Celo,Jasper and Kobe). Darcel had a unavailable sense of empathy towards everyone she came across to family, friends, and even coworkers. When it was set in done she ended becoming a 2nd mother for many as well as a sister and aunt. Her love for the lord showed unwavering faith Hebrews 10:23 (holding fast without wavering), this became a testament and a example of her true love for Christ as she battled cancer. Her spirit never changed. Her lives on through her two son and five grandchildren.
