Darinda Ann Brooks entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 at the age of 30. Darinda was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 24, 1993. She was the daughter of David Brooks and Ivy Pryor-Jackson. She was the sister of Latoya Brooks, Dayatra Jackson, and Damara Brooks. Darinda was married to the love of her life, Ronald Saleem, for 10 magnificent years. She adored her children, Oneka, Jayda and Rashad Saleem. She was the granddaughter of the late Ivy Rose and Clarence Pryor, Sr. and Mary Jackson. The niece of Albertine (Alfred) Bernal, Brenda (Rick) Brazier, Donald, Tyrone and Adrian Brooks. The daughter-in-law of Barbara Saleem and the late Muhammad Saleem. The sister-in-law of Trevor Converse, Courtney Miller (Saleem), Ryan (Anissa) Saleem, Akbar, Akmal (Schvonda) Saleem, Jameel (Ashley) Saleem, Tracy (Eldon) Boone, Taheerah, and Jameelah Saleem. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Ivy Rose and Clarence Pryor, Sr. and Mary Jackson, father-in-law, Muhammad Saleem, aunts Cynthia and Jacqueline Pryor, Corine Jackson, Olivia Knight, Adline (Al) Newton, Victoria Daggs, Shirley (Freddie) Dennis, Mary (Edward) Charles, Lamera (Kenneth, Sr.) Berger. Her uncles Samuel, Clarence, June, Walter and Frank Pryor and brother-in-law Roland Saleem. She leaves to cherish her memory to her devoted husband, Ronald, loving daughters, Oneka and Jayda, caring son Rashad. Her mother Ivy (Kevin), father David (Claudette), sisters: Deonca, Dayatra and Damara, mother-in-law: Barbara Saleem, son-in-law: Abel Germame, aunts, uncles, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
